Join the Wellington Youth Choir as we present “Sun and Stars”, directed by Philip Oliver and accompanied by Heather Easting.This collection of music set throughout the day and night will take us on a journey. From the Australian outback with Stephen Leek’s “Kondalilla,” to choral favourites Esenvalds’ “Stars,” and Lauridsen’s “Sure on this Shining Night,” to the incredible energy of Elton John’s “Rocket Man” and Cole Porter’s “It’s De-Lovely” – this is a concert you don’t want to miss! This event will go ahead under alert level two, following all Covid-19 regulation guidelines. Please bring your own mask!

Wellington Youth Choir is a self-run, mixed choir for 18-27 year olds in the Wellington Region consisting of around 30 students and young professionals. The choir provides a fantastic opportunity for experienced singers to continue singing at a high standard, and for newcomers to get involved in a choir for the first time.
